What are Microgreens?
Microgreens are the seedlings of vegetables and herbs.
Many different vegetables and herbs can be harvested as microgreens like broccoli, radish, cabbage, kale, peas, beets, carrots, amaranth, basil, arugula, cilantro, parsley, dill, chives, sunflowers, and so much more!
They’re little baby plants that are bursting with vitamins, nutrients, and flavor!
Are Microgreens good for you?
Absolutely! Microgreens boast higher concentrations of essential vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants compared to their fully-grown counterparts.
Most microgreens are also rich in potassium, iron, zinc, magnesium and copper.

More About Nik:
I’m a graphic designer by day. My journey into the world of microgreens began in 2015 when, fueled by a newfound love for plants but only having a 330 sq ft apartment in Astoria, Queens with no direct sunlight, my green thumb had to get innovative.
I’ve been a musician for over 20 years, I kickbox several times a week, I go paddle boarding every chance I get, and I have a rescue pit bull named Knuckles. The two of us were even interviewed on Lester Holt’s NBC Nightly News and on CNBC’s The News with Shepard Smith.
